The Scott catalog — the catalog of postage stamps of the world published in English by English publishing house. Scott Publishing Company, a subsidiary of Amos Press, is updated annually and lists all postage stamps throughout the world that the publisher's editors consider issued for the purpose of postal circulation. The catalog is published in six large volumes. The numbering system that Scott uses to identify stamps is the most common among US stamp collectors.
